About

MPPR is a marketing and PR consultancy established in 1998 by Martyn Pass to service the needs of manufacturers, teams and individual drivers plus other individuals or organisations working in motorsport, not only within the United Kingdom, but across the globe.

Martyn’s background and experience stretches back almost four decades. In the early 1970s he was a Sports Reporter at the Birmingham Post & Mail, reporting for the Birmingham Post, Evening Mail, Sunday Mercury and Sports Argus newspapers on various sports including motorsport, tennis and soccer. He attended numerous European-based Formula One Grands Prix with full FIA media accreditation, witnessing the full impact of Birmingham-born Nigel Mansell and also reported on the World Rally Championship, British Formula Three, British Touring Car Championships, British Open (for Shell Oils) and National Rally Championships (for Autosport magazine).

He then spent time with a Public Relations agency involved in the British Touring Car Championship, British Formula 3000, FIA International Formula 3000 and British Formula Three Championships. Additionally, Martyn was involved in the agency’s tennis accounts, that included the National Tennis Championships as well as the famous Eastbourne International Ladies Championships, plus equestrianism involving the World Equestrian Games and the Blenheim Three-Day Event.

In 1998, Martyn went freelance, and set up Martyn Pass PR with his wife and business partner, Teresa. In the ensuing 20 years, MPPR Ltd has managed some of the biggest and most successful accounts in motorsport, and with a longevity and commitment that is impressive.
